Message from Michelle Quigley on The HairBall Party colors

The New Hairball Party poster

Howdy! For all who might want or need it I’ve attached a jpg of the poster (slightly less than the full size 11×17)

Will that work for you as a color reference? You might also grab a poster from the school and save yourself from having to print it (and possible color variation from a different printer).

Paint colors would ideally be:

  • Magenta or Hot Fuschia Pink
  • Purple
  • Deep Violet (a dark blue that leans towards purple)
  • White for mixing
  • Red
  • Light Blue (don’t need as much of the last two they’re mostly for highlights)

If we can only get 3 colors I’d go for

  • Magenta or Hot Fuschia Pink
  • Deep Violet (a dark blue that leans towards purple)
  • Red

I know I can scrounge up some white for mixing. Most of the paint stores have reject mixed colors in the back for a reduced price. Ask William if he can get us a deal at Caligari’s. If the paint from RtO is still kicking around there was a can of red that had a fair bit left.

On the wonders of Tyvek:

It think I ended up calling there last time, they sell end rolls and give discounts to schools/non-profits.
